Nikkor 55mm f3.5 micro

Picked this lens up cheap on flea bay. What a cracker, super sharp and 1:2 close focus without rings.

It is an ideal lens for normal shooting as well as close-ups. The only drawback is its restrictive lens speed which hinders it as a logical alternative to Nikkor standard lenses. Next, this compact close-up lens is also a perfect companion to use it with a Nikon Bellow Unit if higher magnification ratio than 1.0X is desirable. The meter coupling prong also enables many older Non-Ai Nikon bodies be able to use in stop down metering mode.
