Between Point of Ayr and Prestatyn there are miles sandy of beach and dunes, and views across the Irish Sea and to the Wirral and Liverpool.

Built in 1776, and inactive since 1883, Point of Ayr lighthouse stands on Talacre Beach.



Must try and get to this place when the tide is in, have missed it the last 2 times I have been. This interesteing lighthouse, disused now stand lonely on the beach.
